Due to a conference in Pittsburgh, the 1996 reunion was held in nearby Greensburg. The event worked just as well as in previous years.

Several people arrived on Thursday, and there was much merriment and Magic, and some euchre as well. We appropriated a back hallway near a stuffed bear. As people arrived, they received the first "newsflash" from the Aefron Gazette, which offered a glimpse into what lay ahead.

On Friday, a game of Ultimate went on in the field behind the hotel, while others relaxed. The swimming pool was inviting and Alex read the Reunicorn for the first time.

In the afternoon, we journeyed to a park about 20 minutes away for a fine feast of burgers and dogs, topped with basketball, volleyball, and softball. Several more people met us at the park, and the second newsflash/teaser was released. Tip of the engineering hat to Pat for his aluminum-foil-covered-ice-scraper which served useful life as a spatula.

In the evening, there were more cards, some RoboRally, and the final Gazette was issued, revealing the nature of the quest.

As Saturday dawned, several people took advantage of the hotel's golf course, and then the adventure was on deep into the night.

Sunday morning breakfast was at Denny's, and then it was a rainy caravan home.
